Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your WombView account and what happens to your data.
⚠️ Before You Delete
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please read this entire page before proceeding.
What Will Be Deleted:
- ✅ Your account and device association
- ✅ Your credit balance (unused credits will be lost)
- ✅ Your purchase history
- ✅ Any cloud-stored generated images
- ✅ All associated data on our servers
What Will NOT Be Deleted:
- ❌ Images saved locally on your device (you control these)
- ❌ Purchase records with Apple (required for tax/legal purposes)
- ❌ Anonymized analytics data (GDPR/CCPA compliant)
Note: If you have unused credits, consider using them before deleting your account. Credits cannot be refunded after deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the WombView app on your iPhone
- Go to Settings tab
- Scroll to Account Management
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
- Your account will be deleted immediately
Method 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, email us:
- To: privacy@wombview.app
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Include: Your device ID (found in Settings → General → About → Identifier)
We will process your request within 30 days.
Send Deletion Request
Timeline
- Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you cannot log in
- Within 24 hours: Your account data is deleted from our servers
- Within 30 days: All backup copies are purged
- 90 days: Email request processing time (if not done in-app)

Data Retention Policy
After account deletion:
- Personal Data: Deleted within 24 hours
- Generated Images: Deleted within 24 hours (cloud-stored only)
- Purchase Records: Retained for 7 years (legal requirement)
- Anonymized Analytics: Retained indefinitely (cannot identify you)
Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Under privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data before deletion
- Erasure: Delete your personal data (this page)
- Portability: Export your data in a common format
- Objection: Object to data processing

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I reactivate my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent. You would need to create a new account by reinstalling the app.
Will I get a refund for unused credits?
No. All sales are final. Unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion.
What happens to my locally saved images?
They remain on your device. You have full control over locally saved images.
How do I delete local images from my device?
In the app: Gallery → Select image → Delete. Or delete the entire app to remove all local data.
Will Apple be notified?
Yes. We notify Apple of account deletions as required by their policies.
Can I delete just some data, not everything?
Yes. You can selectively delete images in the Gallery. To delete all data, follow the full account deletion process.
